Manufactured by Bartle, it was the company's only operational helicopter. Bartle is a company descended from Piasecki Helicopters, and began developing large transport aircraft in 1956, shortly after its founding. The aircraft is a tandem rotor helicopter with twin turboshaft engines.The engine is mounted at the top of the rear fuselage, reducing noise and increasing the area of the cabin.In order to simplify the loading of cargo, a sloping door is installed at the rear of the fuselage.
