This MAP sensor calculates air density, determines engine air mass flow, and provides instantaneous pressure information to the engine's electronic control unit. A failed MAP sensor can cause a variety of issues with the fuel system and vehicle performance.
It is easy to use and can be directly replaced and installed without any special tools.

Installation:
1. Installation: Remove the old sensor and install the new sensor in the engine bay (passenger side).
2. Vacuum and Wiring: Connect to the BOV source, route the wiring through the firewall to the door, and link to the MAP power source (note the signal).
3. ECU: Plug into the port (see manual); the ECU is located under the passenger-side carpet.
4. Bypass: Spice up new power/ground to factory, isolate the old signal, and connect the new signal to UTEC.
5. Calibrate: Enter manual voltage/pressure-based intercept/gradation in UTEC (Edit Maps > Parameters > Special).
6. Test: Drive to check for loose connections/soldering issues.
