Product Name: AVIREX x Timex TYPE-25A [Product Details] - This model was reissued and released in limited quantities in 2017 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the "MIDGET" military watch, originally manufactured by Timex for the U.S. military in 1917. - The original Midget was a pocket watch customized for the U.S. military during World War I by attaching wire lugs to it, making it one of the earliest military watches. - This special limited edition model commemorates AVIREX's 50th anniversary, and is based on the Timex Midget, which also has ties to the U.S. military, while incorporating AVIREX signature elements throughout. - The dial and hands feature a practical, easy-to-read design based on instruments found in the cockpits of actual U.S. military aircraft. - Timex's exclusive Indiglo™ night-light function illuminates the dial when the crown is pressed, making it easy to read even in dark places or at night. The watch comes with a genuine leather NATO strap and a nylon replacement strap, so you can easily change it to suit your outfit or mood.
