Decent contruction. Battery included. Fairly loud (like a phone ringing on a max volume). Not protected from elements, so only for inside use. And even in a fridge, beware of condensate. Two modes: ring when the temperature is in a range, and ring if the temperature is outside of the range. For my fridge, I set {8,0} C, so if it's left open, the siren will start beeping. Or if by some reason it decides to freeze everything. Update after an almost a year: changed from ok to very good. The thermometer still works in the same fridge, battery is still unchanged. Alarm for non-closed door is reliable.
