If the Japanese language is not displayed, set the language setting on your Switch console to "Japanese" and then launch this software. The screen will open in Japanese, allowing you to play in Japanese without any setup or operation. (Switches purchased in Japan are set to "Japanese" by default, so you can play in Japanese without any setup.) Although this is an import from North America, this software supports Japanese text, so you can play in Japanese. This product is a packaged version. It is not a downloadable version.
