Product Introduction
The prototypes are three trains: K820, K505, and K512, belonging to Katsuta Depot during the final period of JNR (Japan National Railways), from March 1985 onwards.
They are reproduced with sewage treatment equipment at the end of the cars, preparation for the Joban radio antenna, and without the train radio antenna.
The 100 series (and even-numbered KuHa 200 series) reproduce the rooftop equipped with a push-in ventilator, AU75BM air conditioner, and semi-cross seat interior.
The 500 series (and even-numbered KuHa 600 series) reproduce the rooftop equipped with a box-type ventilator and long seat interior. The 4-car add-on set reproduces the configuration equipped with an AU75G air conditioner, while the 4-car set reproduces the configuration equipped with an AU75BM air conditioner.
The 700 series reproduces the semi-long seat interior with box-type ventilator, AU75G air conditioner, a different inspection cover shape, and long seating only at the end of the cars.
All floorboards for MoHa 414/415 are newly manufactured. The different underfloor equipment layouts between the 100, 700, and 500 series are also reproduced. The lead car floorboards are also newly created specifically for the 415 series.
The direction signs on each car are reproduced as they were in their preparatory construction state.
Headlights, taillights, and front display lights are lit (with switch to turn them off). *Only KuHa 411-612 in the 4-car add-on set is non-lighting.
The driver's seat area and headlight base of the lead car, which differ in dimensions from DC cars, are reproduced in silver. KuHa 411-102, KuHa 411-512, and KuHa 411-505 have a front headlight installed on the driver's seat side.
Equipped with a power unit with a flywheel for stable running. DCC friendly. The 4-car set does not have traction tires for coupled operation.
Each car uses a body-mounted close-coupling coupler without a hook. A body support that can be attached to the front is included. The front-mounted train type display reads "Local (white text on a blue background)."
Destination display stickers are included. Side signs include "Ueno-Taira," "Ueno-Takaogi," "Ueno-Tsuchiura," "Ueno-Katsuta," "Mito-Taira," and "Oyama-Katsuta." Front-mounted train type displays include "Local (blue text on a white background)" and "Special." Non-smoking car and train number displays are also included.
The 4-car add-on set comes with an 8-car bookcase.
