Product Introduction

The E231 series is a commuter and suburban train developed by JR East and currently operates on DC sections in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Cars transferred to Mitaka Rolling Stock Center in 2014 have had their body stripes changed to yellow.

[Product] Reproduces the updated E231-500 series train from Mitaka Rolling Stock Center. The underfloor of the Moha E231 model is recreated with updated equipment. Combine this product (cars 4, 7, 8, and 9) with part number 98839 to recreate a 10-car formation. The exterior side speakers are sculpted for a three-dimensional effect. The body is recreated in two shades of silver. Selectable car numbers are available with transfer sheets (transfer sheets are included with the basic set). The green side windows are recreated. Features a new current collection system and black wheels.
