This faithful reproduction of the Porsche 918 Spyder Weissach Package is an even more Spartan performance package version of Porsche's special model, the Porsche 918 Spyder. One of the eye-catching features of the 918 Spyder is its engine hood. Its entire surface is covered in a hexagonal honeycomb mesh, allowing a view of the interior. To match the actual car, the model incorporates pressed etched parts for the mesh, and also simply reproduces the mold visible through the mesh. The magnesium wheels, a major feature of the Weissach Package, are injection-molded to ensure strength, and 3D data was created that is as close to the actual car as possible. The carbon fiber diffuser, which is also a feature of vehicles equipped with the Weissach Package and wraps around the rear bumper from below, has also been designed to have a thin, sharp design. Vehicles equipped with the Weissach package are equipped with numerous carbon fiber parts, many of which are not painted in body color, leaving the carbon fiber exposed. However, on the model, these areas have been applied with carbon fiber pattern decals and then a clear coating to give it the look and feel of a real car.
