Since its debut in 2010, the Resort Shirakami (Aoiike), a sightseeing train operating between Akita Station and Aomori Station using the HB-E300 series, has been featured in Plarail. The train's body color is inspired by the Blue Pond at Jūnikō, and it is equipped with a hybrid system. Inside the train, you can enjoy events featuring the majestic Shirakami Mountains, scenery along the Gono Line, and local folk arts.
