Uninstall the mechanical fuel pump. 2. Select an area close to the existing fuel lines close to the fuel tank mount the pump. 3. Connect the fuel line from the tank to the fuel filter and the filter to the inlet port of the pump. 4. Connect the carburetor delivery line to the outlet port of the pump. 5. Connect the power lead from the fuel pump to the (P) terminal of the oil switch. 6. Connect the ground wire from the fuel pump to ground. 7. Start the engine to check for leaks. Note: • Avoid routing fuel lines in areas that would cause chafing.
