Very disappointing and unstable I really wanted to like this overhead camera stand, but it turned out to be a big disappointment. The design looks great on paper and it claims to handle the weight of a DSLR, yet my Canon camera was far too heavy for it in practice. Even at the lowest extension it feels unstable. When positioned at a 90 degree angle for overhead recording, the stand becomes extremely top-heavy and tips over with the slightest movement. It simply doesn’t offer the stability you need for filming or photography. For anyone planning to use this with a DSLR or a heavier mirrorless camera, I wouldn’t recommend it. It might work for a phone or a very lightweight compact camera, but definitely not for anything more substantial. I’m returning it and will look for a sturdier, more reliable alternative.

Rating 4 because I really didn’t like the camera mount, it was impossible to remove the camera and put it back, you have to screw the camera onto the tripod platform every time, so I ordered another head for the tripod, also from this company, +10 euros
