It's zero degrees outside and the wind is cold, I went fishing and put it on over a sweater and trousers on my lower back and a jacket on top, in general, it's great, and it was warm in the lower back. At first there was a smell, but I left it open in the garage for a day and the smell disappeared completely. Elastic, long, very well fixed with Velcro. When I took it off, I was sweaty underneath, maybe it was for these purposes, but I took it to support my lower back and keep it warm when necessary. I recommend it.
