Not at all a toy, remains to be seen how many hours the 3AAA batteries (not included) give light before need replacing. Strong, mild and strobo light modes. For an occational, not necessarily daily need of head-light certainly an economical and valid choice, because not rechargeable. Headband felt pleasant. Has to be completed with batteries and assembled with headband by the consumer. Easy task, though. All in all a good purchase. With eight sets, enough for a hiking/running group or a large family. As an emergency light good to keep in packback, if you get lost. You will be seen when using the strobo, which also saves batteries.

very good headlamps...simple,small,light but strong I recommend this headlamp for fishermen to keep them handy ....
