I have no idea how it actually works. I wanted to try it as I've noticed my hearing is worse on one side. However, I don't notice any difference. The device is either too weak or out of order. It always beeps loudly with every little movement. This beeping can be heard very clearly, but not the actual sounds. A pity. Would like to return the product. Unfortunately I can't use that for my purposes.

Works well so far and amplifies quite well too. It is good that several hearing aid caps were included! (But it would be even better if an LED in the handset represented the on function) Unfortunately, the device was washed, the washing machine won!!?? I just ordered another device.
