- Higher output AVRs are definitely suitable for generators with lower power outputs, conversely AVRs with lower power outputs cannot be used with higher power output generators. - If our AVR doesn't fit your alternator, manually turn the small bronze screw in the blue rubber part (potentiometer) clockwise or counterclockwise to achieve your desired power output.
