Slightly taller than the average stick. It's perfect..the stick is heavier than the usual NHS issue, or Amazon generic, but that is down to the craftsmanship. I waited a long time for it to arrive. It was worth the wait. I have had to use thread lock on the joins as it doesn't stay fastened, probably because it's brand new. The head is heavy. And for comfort, the head faces backwards, so my fingers rest on the head between the horns. The lane is a lightweight metal, and the attention to detail in the silver own is fabulous. Zero sign of showing any inclination to discolour. The price is beyond fantastic for this wonderful cane. This was bought with a few things in mind.... ■ I have to walk with a stick. I wanted it to be an extension of myself. Not just a walking aid. ●I am female, over 40 and single. I want to feel safe. This makes me feel safe. ■ I wanted a slightly taller stick for when I wear heels over 3 1/2 ".. (helps ease spine compression and nerve pain) ● I wanted a slimmer cane, as it feels more elegant. I intend to purchase a few more with different heads, and I have a wedding coming which will need a shorter version, so watch this space as it will be taken to a professional to be taken shorter. For now. This is now my daily cane. I am 100% satisfied and cannot recommend these any higher than the 5 stars, it I'd give it a 10!
