Princeton Tec Charge MPLS helmet flashlight. A tactical individual flashlight designed for illumination in various modes, including in the infrared (invisible to the normal eye) spectrum. Powered by 1 AA battery, the flashlight was designed to be helmet-mounted, offering a variety of light output to suit combat missions in the field. Versatile, smart and durable, the Charge MPLS lights were created with an exclusive flexible design that allows the light to be directed where the operator needs it, regardless of helmet angle. The light can be mounted on a regular helmet, on a helmet with side rails, on a MOLLE system, or in use like a headlamp. Light source - 4 LEDs of different colors/power. Features and characteristics: Power source - 1 x AA battery; Light source – 4 LEDs of different colors/power (1 x Maxbright, 3 x Ultrabright); Operating time on one battery – 24 hours; Weight - 47 g (with battery); The luminous flux power is 55 lumens. Each flashlight has one white Maxbright LED, which emits 55 lumens in a focused beam, quite bright. A group of 3 Ultrabright LEDs in various color configurations provide an even greater degree of lighting specialization, depending on the specific needs of the operator in the current combat environment. The user interface was designed with a focus on ease of operation in difficult situations, so Maxbright white mode requires a full two seconds to activate button press to avoid accidental activation. White mode also supports dimming, allowing the operator to control the light intensity.
