Product introduction
A masterpiece where you can listen to the traditional West African xylophone 'Balaphone' and the iron harp 'vibraphone', which is also used in jazz, etc., with bass and drum accompaniment. The ballaphone is played by Lancine Kouyate, who also participated in “Chirike” by Kassé Maddie Javate. Also, white performer David Neilman is in charge of the vibraphone. This 2008 work aimed for a new taste of African jazz by incorporating jazz improvisation into Manding's music, which is rooted in West African traditions. (C) RS
