Miguel Camões was born in 1987 in Almodóvar in the Alentejo region of southern Portugal. While studying architecture at the National University of Évora and the University of Malaga in Spain, she began working as a fado singer in her teens. I won various competitions and went on a professional path. After that, while they performed at the famous Fado House in Lisbon and gained experience, they also performed overseas, such as Lyon in France, Nantes, and Zurich in Switzerland. Furthermore, they have performed regularly at the famous store 'Caldo Verde' in Lisbon's Bairro Alto district and 'Travessa do Fado' in the old Alfama district, and their ability is currently highly regarded.
The first album released by Miguel in 2014 from the prestigious Fado label 'CTL' is this work. This work was planned because he was performing at the restaurant 'Povo Lisboa' near Cais do Sodré station in Lisbon at the time, and both Antonio Cardoso (Portuguese guitar) and Joan Penard (voola), who accompanied him at that store, also participated in this recording. Therefore, the traditional fad sound, which seems to contain the atmosphere at that store as it is, can be said to be a major feature of this work. Furthermore, during this period, Miguel actively collaborated with performers other than fado, and his friends (saxophone, bandoneon, percussion, etc.) who were working together at that time also participated as guests with songs, and they also enjoyed progressive sounds that added a positive alpha to traditional fado at the same time.
Of course, it goes without saying that the biggest listening point is Miguel's singing voice, which makes me feel intelligent and honest. And there is no doubt that only Miguel, who is full of cleanliness, including his looks, will captivate many vocal lovers.
