Laila Biali, a female singer-songwriter who works based on jazz, freely sings famous songs by Ron Sexsmith that are melodies by Ron Sexsmith released in 1995 and are popular worldwide even in the version of FIST. It featured a saxophone with a comfortable backing rhythm played on his own piano in an arrangement of wood bass, drums, and percussion, and it was an emotional cover that went back and forth between pop music and jazz. Songs from the album “Live In Concert” /compilation CD “Bar Music × CORE PORT Precious Time for 23:00 Later,” which has continued to sell for a long time since its release in 2015. As a DJ/ music selector/ music writer, he has presided over “Musicanossa” since 1999 and is the owner of “Bar Music” in Shibuya. They have released numerous compilation CDs/vinyl, and are involved in the planning and supervision of disc guides, as well as providing music selections to USEN and FM stations. The label “Musicanossa Grips” was launched in 2013. The latest CD “Bar Music × CORE PORT Rejected Time for 24:00 Later” will be released on 2020/10/21.
