Product description The ATH-MSR7NC headphones combine Hi-Res Audio technology with original ATH-MSR7 design features with newly developed active noise canceling technology to provide the ultimate listening experience. A mini microphone is built into the top of each earcup, and when the active noise canceling function is enabled, it picks up ambient noise with an appropriate noise canceling signal. By placing the microphone on top of the housing instead of on the side, consistent noise cancellation is achieved without being affected by the user's head movements or wind noise. Additionally, each earcup has an acoustic vent, which is ideally placed on the side of the housing to enhance tuning 90 degrees from the microphone without adversely affecting sound quality.
