PABA (para-aminobenzoic acid) is found in foods such as grains, eggs, milk and meat. It is a precursor of folic acid, the microflora of our intestines can synthesize folic acid from it. PABA also helps cells resist oxidation.
Functional action:
Para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA) belongs to the group of B vitamins, is part of the folic acid molecule and participates in the formation of erythrocytes, metabolism and utilization of amino acids. PABA is found in many food products: liver, yeast, wheat germ, rice, eggs, molasses. It is present in all tissues of the body and is necessary for the vital activity of the body.
PABA (or vitamin B10) is involved in the processes of protein (as an enzyme) and fat metabolism; normalizes the work of the thyroid gland, maintains normal intestinal microflora, has a lactogenic effect. PABA is used in cosmetology (in the form of lotions, gels), smoothes wrinkles, prevents early aging, eliminates pigmentation, and supports skin health.
Vitamin B10 promotes good hair growth, preserves natural pigment and maintains its normal color (prevents early graying and hair loss). In the form of a cream, PABA is usually used to prevent and treat sunburns, and in combination with vitamin E, it is often used to treat other types of burns.
