This vintage circuit continues in the tradition of the legendary Arbiter Fuzz from the 60's, with the addition of even more fine-tuned circuitry. Main features Vintage tone: Orbiter Fuzz promises instant inspiration with razor-sharp sustain and effortless fuzz tones. Vintage power: SoloDallas' proprietary power circuit internally emulates the power of vintage carbon-zinc batteries. Sweet spot dial: Two mini potentiometers are installed inside: "FACTORY PRE BIAS" which allows you to adjust the impedance response optimal for your favorite pickup with a dial, and "The DRAG" which allows you to thicken the fuzz and adjust the brightness of the tone. Versatile controls: FUZZ: Turning the knob clockwise changes the signal waveform from a triangle wave to a square wave, controlling the overall amount of fuzz. GAIN: Turning the knob clockwise increases the amount of signal entering the circuit, pushing the signal into harmonic clipping for a smooth overdriven fuzz tone. BIAS: Turning the knob clockwise increases the voltage to the transistor, resulting in a wide range of vintage fuzz tones. Lower voltages will give you a sharper response like the BlackKeys, while higher voltages will produce a smoother fuzz like the American Woman.
