The MOD section features EHX's great-sounding vibrato, flanger, chorus, and phaser. The Depth control controls the amount of the effect, and the Feedback control controls the resonance of the flanger and phaser. The TREM section features a tremolo effect that modulates the volume of the signal. Use the Depth control to set the intensity (depth) of the tremolo. The PAN section allows left and right modulation when connected in stereo. When in monaural, the PAN section functions as another tremolo section, but the waveform is inverted. FILTER section , you can choose between LPF (low pass filter), HPF (high pass filter) or BPF (band pass filter). LPF cuts frequencies above the cutoff point. HPF cuts frequencies below the cutoff point, while BPF cuts frequencies above and below the center point. Each section allows you to choose from four LFO shapes: rising sawtooth, triangle, falling sawtooth, and square. These affect how the modulation changes and provide advanced creative control over how certain sections interact with each other. ■Powerful and flexible TEMPO control MOD REX brings virtually unlimited polyrhythms. The TEMPO control allows you to select nine note lengths for each of the four modulation sections, and allows you to independently set subdivisions from whole notes to sixteenth notes. Additionally, it is possible to bypass these settings in either section. MOD REX's tempo can be set using the TEMPO knob or tap. This can be adjusted using a top tempo footswitch or an expression pedal connected to the EXP jack. It is also possible to synchronize with external devices via MIDI clock or external pulse clock. ■MIDI Compatible MOD REX's MIDI implementation allows you to quickly and easily synchronize devices and automate functions, ensuring accurate functionality at home, in the studio, or live. MOD REX can receive MIDI to synchronize the modulation rate tempo with an external device, recall presets using MIDI program change messages, and control parameters using control change messages. ■Other MOD REX allows you to save and recall up to 100 presets and has 20 built-in factory programs.
