A new ligature has been created by incorporating the experience, technology, and passion for sound that we have cultivated as a specialized saxophone manufacturer. Yanagisawa's nickname is ``Yany'' and ``SIXS'' refers to the six spaces that this ligature has. When using the ligature, six spaces are created between the ligature and the contact surface with the reed/mouthpiece. These "SIXS" are the key points in creating attractive sounds.
