How to Use:
1. Install the batteries and press the button to switch on the instrument.
2. Press the key to select the measurement item of the instrument: The moisture content of the grain to be measured or the temperature at the position of the probe. When measuring the moisture content of the grain, the instrument displays x x. When measuring the moisture content of the grain, the meter displays xx. xpercent , when measuring the temperature at the position of the probe, the meter displays xx. x degrees C. The instrument is in the state of measuring grain water content by default.
3. Grain water content measurement: Make sure the instrument is in the state of displaying grain water content, press the key to select the type of grain to be measured (type represented by the display 1, 2, 3, 4, 1 for wheat 2 for rice, 3 for rice, 4 for corn), insert the probe into the grain to be measured to measure the grain water content, at this time the instrument display is the water content of the grain to be measured. During the measurement process, if the key is pressed and MAXIMUM is displayed on the screen, the instrument enters the maximum value holding mode, press the key again to exit this mode. The display will only be updated if the measured value is greater than the currently displayed value, otherwise it will not be updated. The side button is the reading hold key, press for the first time to select the reading hold function (the display shows the symbol), press again to cancel the function (the display does not show the symbol).
4. Measuring temperature: When you select to measure the temperature at the location of the probe, the instrument can roughly display the temperature of the environment where the probe is located, press at this point to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit (the instrument displays Celsius by default).
5. When the measurement is completed, press to switch off the instrument and it will enter the hibernation state.
6. Turn the display backlight on off. Open the battery compartment cover on the rear housing and remove the bottom battery. If the switch is set to ON, the backlight will light up when the power is turned on, otherwise the backlight will not light up.

The greater the grain moisture, the greater the influence of grain pressure on the measurement, moisture below 13percent , the influence of grain pressure on the measurement is very small.
3. When using the measuring probe to measure grain placed in multiple layers, as long as the influence of grain pressure is subtracted according to one"s accumulated experience, even when measuring samples of high moisture packed grain placed in multiple layers, the test can still be very accurate (within +0.5percent ), but one must calculate the relationship between measurement accuracy and grain pressure, if the grain bag is placed in a single layer and the measuring probe is inserted from the top to the bottom of the measurement, it is also possible to use single layer placement and multiple layer placement The data measured can be compared with the data measured in multiple layers to sum up the experience.
Battery Replacement:
1. When the battery voltage is lower than the specified value, a low voltage symbol will appear on the display, indicating that the battery needs to be replaced.
