The Pro-Ject E1 BT is the first turntable in the budget E series, which aims to deliver true hi-fi sound at a surprisingly low price. Installing the turntable is very simple and intuitive. The arm is equipped with a gear and has the pressure already set. Just attach the strap, plate, dust cover and connect the turntable to the appropriate input on the amplifier. Thanks to the built-in phono preamplifier(MM), which can be switched off, it is possible to connect the turntable directly to the input with a line signal or select the input (preamplifier) with phono level.
But that's not all, alternatively you can use an internal transmitter with Bluetooth technology (5.2) with aptX HD and aptX adaptive support for wireless connection . This allows you to wirelessly and in high resolution stream your turntable's sound to compatible Bluetooth devices, or to amplifiers, or directly to Bluetooth-equipped speakers or headphones. The lightweight, low-friction 8.6-inch aluminum tonearm is optimized to work with the high-quality, factory-installed Audio Technica AT 3600 L transducer to its full potential.
The E1 turntable is equipped with a platter made of reinforced ABS polymer, which creates a suitable platform for the turntable. The board is driven by a belt and a DC motor.. The turntable is also equipped with an electronic speed switching switch.. Simply turn the three-position switch on the side to the desired position for 33 or 45 rpm. Effective protection against unwanted vibrations is provided by three damped bases, and a removable transparent dust cover is a matter of course.
Thanks to the selected drive solution, the E1 is able to ensure smooth and stable rotation of the record, necessary for precise guidance of the tonearm and the turntable cartridge.. The E1 straight tonearm is based on proven Pro-Ject solutions. The effective length of 8.6”, aluminum construction, newly developed head tube and excellent bearing with minimal friction are important aspects ensuring adequate tracking accuracy.
The E1 also includes a directly connected shielded phono cable (1.23m) with low capacity and RCA terminal. Also included is a single adapter, dust cover and felt platter mat for extra protection for your records.. A separate DC 15 V / 0.8 A power supply is included. The E1 is a price wonder.
