JBL Stage XD-6 - a simple solution for the toughest conditions
JBL Stage XD-6 is a two-way loudspeaker with a sensitivity of 88 dB, whose great advantage is excellent durability and high sound quality over a wide dispersion field. Thanks to these properties, it is an excellent solution for outdoor sound systems such as gardens, terraces, verandas, swimming pools, etc.
JBL Stage XD-5 Construction
The speakers are not afraid of bad weather or dust and can easily withstand temperatures from -35°C to 75°C. To ensure adequate resistance, they are equipped with a waterproof housing with an IP67 protection rating. This represents one of the highest levels of certification in terms of protection against water ingress. This level of weather protection means protection against the ingress of harmful dusts and flying particles, as well as protection against water and liquids, including immersion in water to a depth of one meter for a period of up to 30 minutes. However, if there is a risk that the speaker will be exposed to prolonged adverse weather conditions (rain), it is recommended to mount it under a roof.
Thanks to the case dimensions of 222 x 299 x 194 mm (width. x height. x depth) speakers can be placed almost anywhere. The delivery also includes wall brackets with tilt and rotation capabilities, adapted for quick and easy mounting e.g.. on a beam, on a pergola, on a wall or under the roof.

The JBL Stage XD-6 speakers are equipped with a 1" aluminum tweeter(25mm) with acoustic lens and special sound channel High-Definition Imaging (HDI™), which is also used in other models of large JBL Stage column speakers, the sound channel has a patented geometry that helps widen the sound field, reduce distortion, and guarantees the most accurate sound reproduction with an optimal response even beyond the listening axis.
Mid and low frequencies are handled by a 6.5" speaker (165mm) with a cone diaphragm made of polypropylene reinforced with graphite. Thanks to its properties, the speaker can present a rich bass, which is typical for JBL.
The transducers are protected by an easily removable, magnetically attached Zero Bezel cover with rotatable logos for vertical and horizontal mounting. For better sound quality, it is recommended to connect the speakers to an amplifier with a power output of 20W to 100W. With a frequency response from 55 Hz to 25 kHz. this JBL Stage XD-6 is primarily intended for music listening, but of course can also be used for film production, both indoors and outdoors.
