Product Description: Treats frequent heartburn 24-hour sustained release Omeprazole delayed-release tablets 20 mg/acid reducer 14-day treatment course Coated tablets Uses Treats frequent heartburn (more than 2 days a week) Take 1 Prilosec OTC tablet in the morning to relieve heartburn day and night. Heartburn is caused by stomach acid refluxing into the esophagus, often causing a burning sensation in the chest and throat. Prilosec OTC Omeprazole works differently by preventing excessive acid production.
How to use: This product is for adults 18 years of age and older. This product should be taken once a day (every 24 hours), daily for 14 days. It may take 1-4 days to achieve full effect. In some cases, symptoms may be completely relieved within 24 hours. 14-day treatment Swallow 1 tablet with a glass of water before breakfast. Take daily for 14 days. Do not take more than 1 tablet per day. Do not take for more than 14 days unless directed by a doctor. Swallow all tablets at once. Do not chew, crush or suck the tablets. 14-day repeat course (if needed) The 14-day course may be repeated every 4 months. Do not take for more than 14 days or unless directed by a doctor. Children under 18 years of age: Consult a doctor. Heartburn in children can sometimes be caused by a serious condition.
