[Feature Content]
This issue of Effects Book features texture pedals. When you hear the term "texture pedals", many people will probably be confused. That's because "texture pedals" are a general term for pedals that produce effects such as glitch, granular, stutter, and lo-fi, which have recently become increasingly popular. The editorial department arbitrarily named them when putting together the feature (although they have been called that in some places before). In short, it is a pedal that allows you to use the noise flavor originally used in techno and electronica on the guitar. It is a type of product that brings a "texture" that gives a song an exquisite hook. For example, if you think of Radiohead songs after "Kid A", it may be easy to understand. Since it is such a new effect, the pedals introduced in this feature are all ones whose usage has not yet been determined. It may be difficult to use if the user does not have musical creativity, but it is worth the challenge. If you can figure out how to use it well, there is no doubt that it will add a unique spice to the music you play. We have scattered hints for this in each item of the feature, so please read it over and over again and use it as food for your creativity! ■CONTENTS-----------------------------------------------------
