Always take this medicine exactly as described here or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is
Adults and the elderly take 1 chewable tablet daily (equivalent to 1,000 mg calcium and 880 IU [international units] vitamin D3).
Pregnant women only take 1/2 chewable tablet daily (equivalent to 500 mg calcium and 440 IU [international units] vitamin D3). The daily dose of 1/2 chewable tablet must not be exceeded.
Use in children and adolescents
The medicine should not be taken by children and adolescents under the age of 18.
Duration of treatment
Taking this medicine is a long-term treatment. Talk to your doctor about how long you should take the tablets.
If you take more than you should
If you suspect an overdose, see your doctor or pharmacist immediately and take the pack and any remaining chewable tablets with you.
An overdose can lead to symptoms such as: B. Nausea, vomiting, feeling thirsty or excessive thirst, increased urge to urinate, dehydration or constipation.
If you forget to take it
If you forget to take your tablet, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is time for your next dose. In this case, only take the regular dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten tablet.
If you stop taking it
If you want to interrupt or end treatment early, please see your doctor.
