Product Description

This model is based on meticulous research into the actual vehicle at the Aberdeen Tank Museum in the United States. While the Lang underwent minor improvements during production, this model recreates vehicles produced after September 1944. It is a version produced after Zimmerit coating was discontinued. The set includes three types of markings, including those used on the Western and Eastern fronts, including the Battle of Ardennes. The texture and details of the casting patterns on the mantlet and the welding patterns on various parts of the hull are faithfully reproduced. The rear hull, where many details are concentrated, is also accurately reproduced, including the various equipment on top of the engine room, spare tracks, and vertical muffler. The tracks are a lightweight version of the type used in the final model. A realistic and easy-to-use belt-type track is used. The road wheels, both of which have been upgraded from the traditional rubber-rimmed to steel, are also meticulously finished. The set includes torso figures of the commander and loader, staring forward from the fighting compartment hatch in a tense pose.
