Product Description

This is a plastic assembly kit model of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force's Type 61 tank, officially adopted in April 1961 as the first domestically produced tank after the war. The tank's compact design, designed to accommodate Japanese terrain and rail transport, has been meticulously recreated. The turret with its 90mm gun is realistically reproduced down to the smallest details, including the 12.7mm machine gun, smoke dischargers, and canvas mantlet. The bolts and weld marks on the transmission inspection panel at the front of the hull are also delicately sculpted. Includes one tank commander figurine and five decal sets, including those for the 8th Tank Battalion.
