Product Description
The T.50 is the first car from GMA (GORDON MURRAY AUTOMOTIVE), a manufacturer founded in 2017 by Gordon Murray, the genius behind numerous groundbreaking F1 cars as a designer for Brabham and McLaren in the 1970s and 1980s.
The name commemorates the 50th anniversary of Gordon Murray's career and his 50th design.
Weighing less than one ton, exceptionally for a modern supercar, the lightweight and compact car is equipped with a mid-mounted 3.9-liter V12 engine.
The large fan mounted at the rear of the car, in combination with internal ducts and a movable rear wing, functions as an aerodynamic device that controls six different aero modes.
It also features a three-seat layout with the driver in the center and passenger seats on either side behind him.
This is the ultimate driver's car, the culmination of Gordon Murray's ideals.
Enjoy building it to discover the numerous mechanisms hidden within its one-of-a-kind packaging and sleek form.
The engine hood can be reassembled in open or closed positions even after assembly.
Enjoy interior details such as the rear suspension damper unit and exhaust. (Engine hood open)
The transparent window and roof parts are assembled without glue, and there's no need to paint the window frames.
The V12 engine, radiator, exhaust pipe cover, and air duct connecting the diffuser to the large fan are also reproduced.
The underside of the car is covered with a flat underpanel, and the rear end is equipped with a diffuser that generates downforce.
The rear bumper's photo-etched mesh is sandwiched between plastic parts.
The front and rear suspension springs are reproduced with slide-molded plastic parts.
The front and rear brake discs and calipers are separate parts for easy painting.
This product is a plastic model that requires assembly and painting.
Separate adhesives, tools, and paints are required for assembly and painting.
