The roof is reproduced in black. The driver's cab is depicted as a see-through. Reproduces the appearance of later models with the side inspection hatch filled in. H-rubbers are reproduced in black. JR mark printed. Headlights are equipped with a constant-on circuit board and an ON-OFF switch. Headlights are illuminated by warm white LEDs. Includes bowl-shaped headmarks "Naga, Akatsuki, Suisei, Fuji." License plates are included as separate parts "ED76-66, 69, 87, 92." Signal flares and whistle are included as separate parts. Front handrail (vertical) is included as a separate part. Release lever is attached as a separate part. Includes dummy coupler and self-coupling TN coupler. Features power unit with flywheel, black bogie frame, and black wheels. Uses wheels with plate hubs. Uses an M-13 motor.
