Fine Molds 1/48 Aircraft Series Imperial Japanese Army Ki-1 Fighter Hayabusa Model 3A Plastic Model FC05
The Ki-1 Fighter Hayabusa served as the Army's main fighter throughout World War II, and the Model 3A was the final production model.
Responding to demands for a faster aircraft on the front lines, the Ki-1 Fighter Hayabusa was equipped with water-methanol fuel injection and a thrust-driven single exhaust pipe, achieving a speed increase of approximately 50 km/h compared to the Ki-2.
Its excellent maneuverability and high reliability made it a favorite among pilots, and it served in the Philippines, Burma, China, and other locations from the end of 1944 until the end of the war.
