Princess Ashe, who lost everything, Van's friend Penelo, the sky pirate Balthair and her partner Fran,
and Basch, a general of the Kingdom of Dalmasca who murdered the king.
The story unfolds in Ivalice, revolving around the encounters and adventures of many characters and revolving around the mystery behind the invasion of the Arcadian Empire.
