This series is designed to help you prepare for the Japanese Language Teacher Examination, focusing on the three most important areas tested: grammar, phonetics, and teaching methods.
This book is the first in the series and covers the "Grammar" section. The "Grammar" section is divided into 10 chapters, covering topics such as parts of speech, comparison with school grammar, sentence structure, intransitive and transitive verbs, voice, aspect, tense, modality, compound sentences, and discourse.
Each chapter begins with a "Proficiency Assessment Quiz." By solving the questions, you can check your understanding of that chapter. Each key grammar point is divided into two pages. Read the explanation on the left page and solve the questions on the right page to see if you understood the content. At the end of each chapter, there is a "Summary" and a "Proficiency Assessment Quiz," allowing you to review the chapter and test your skills with exam-like questions.
The separate volume also includes lists useful for initial study and review, such as part-of-speech classifications and predicate conjugation tables.
This book allows you to study steadily and effortlessly in small steps, such as "two pages a day.
