This round cutting board from Tosa-ryu utilizes leftover Shimanto cypress wood scraps that inevitably result from the manufacturing process of Tosa-ryu products. Instead of discarding them, the scraps are laminated and used effectively. Among Tosa-ryu brand cutting boards, this one is very popular due to its size and ease of use.

It effectively utilizes leftover Shimanto cypress wood scraps from trees approximately 70-80 years old, full of vitality. The wood has a beautiful pale pink color and, due to its high oil content, repels water well.

The flexible and resilient Shimanto cypress planks are laminated (joined together), resulting in a soft cutting surface that is gentle on the blade.

After use, lightly wipe off any moisture and hang it on a hook to dry and store.

To prevent blackening, discoloration, and cracking, which are common problems with cutting boards, a prepolymer coating is impregnated only on the sides of the cutting board.

Please avoid using a dishwasher. This may cause the cutting board to crack or warp.
