ENCORE VIII OKAMURA TAKAKO CONCERT 2015 “T's GARDEN ~Shibuya Public Hall FINAL~” [Blu-ray]

Takako Okamura's first Blu-ray release is here! This is the complete version of the memorial concert "Takako Okamura Concert 2015 T's GRADEN ~Shibuya Public Hall FINAL~," which aired on WOWOW on December 27, 2015, with additional bonus tracks.

Celebrating the 30th anniversary of her solo debut, Takako Okamura has released her first Blu-ray release, featuring the entire "T's GRADEN ~Shibuya Public Hall FINAL~" memorial concert, held on September 27, 2015, at Shibuya Public Hall, which sadly closed temporarily in October 2015.

Shibuya Public Hall, which closed temporarily on October 4, 2015 for reconstruction, is a special place for Takako Okamura. The 14th annual "T's GRADEN ~Shibuya Public Hall FINAL~" concert at Shibuya Public Hall, which began in the summer of 1987, was Okamura Takako's final concert at the hall before its reconstruction. This memorable concert featured a variety of signature songs from each era of her solo debut, including "Ano Hi no Fuukei" (Future of That Day), her signature hit from her time with "Amin," and "Yume wo Akiramenaide" (Don't Give Up on Your Dreams), as well as songs from her recent original albums, such as "Yuki" (Come True to Yourself) and "NO RAIN, NO RAINBOW." The emotional finale, which drew the entire audience to their feet, featured a passionate performance of the classic "Niji wo Oikakete" (Chasing After the Rainbow). At the end, the stage and audience united as the commemorative concert at Shibuya Public Hall came to a close.

This release features a total of 20 tracks, including the 18 tracks broadcast on WOWOW and two bonus tracks ("Sakamaku Mirai" and "Ashita no Uta"). In addition to the unique appeal of a video work, with numerous singing scenes that make you feel as if you're watching them up close, this disc also offers the unique appeal of Blu-ray, with high-definition images that capture Takako Okamura's facial expressions far more clearly than on DVD or terrestrial digital broadcast, allowing you to enjoy the overall atmosphere of the concert, and sound that is even better quality than DVD.

The booklet not only includes lyrics for all the songs, but also the "Shibuya Public Hall Live Photo Library," which brings together photos from the concert and past concerts held at Shibuya Public Hall.
