[Large Print Book] Osamu Dazai's "Tsugaru" (Kyourinsha's Large Print Book Series)

[Synopsis] One spring (1944), I spent three weeks visiting my hometown of Kanagi, the Tsugaru Peninsula. I was welcomed by my only friend from middle school, Mr. N, in Kanita; we climbed Mt. Kanran with Mr. T and his friends and discussed Shiga Naoya; I was invited to Mr. S's home and received a typical Tsugaru welcome, like a whirlwind of wind and fury; and after touring the awe-inspiring scenery of Cape Tappi, I finally arrived at my birthplace. Meeting my eldest and second siblings was exhausting, but I was also able to reunite with my sister-in-law, niece, and grandmother. Finally, I headed to Fukaura to reunite with Take, who had nannyed me as a child. After a long-awaited reunion after 30 years, I was reminded once again that I am Takenoko.
