How will the devil's revenge against God, which he plots by exploiting human selfishness, end? "Brunga I," a work serialized in the magazine "Bokenoh" from the April 1968 to March 1969 issues, portrays the loneliness and desires of humans and the conflict between good and evil from Tezuka Osamu's unique perspective. This book uses existing original illustrations and faithfully reproduces the title page and color/two-color pages that were cut for the book, while also including unused pages in their original serialized form. It also includes a wealth of related materials, such as sketches and storyboards drawn by Tezuka himself for the illusory anime version that was planned but abandoned.
