While push-in lids are more common, the screw-type lid allows you to adjust the pressure on the coffee grounds by turning the screw, allowing you to change the brew strength. [Rich and deep flavor] Coffee extracted with a Caffè Fin has a rich, fragrant, and deep flavor. This is because the coffee grounds are tightly compressed by the inner lid. Caffè Fin extracts coffee through a three-layered filter, which takes a relatively long time, about 5 to 10 minutes. By tightly tightening the Caffè Fin inner lid, the coffee grounds are subjected to intense pressure, causing them to condense. Hot water slowly passes through these layers, which contain a large amount of coffee components, resulting in a more fragrant, deep-flavored coffee. Here's how to use it] 1) Place about 20g of Highlands coffee powder into the dripper with the inner lid removed. 2) Screw the inner lid back on top of the beans. Tip! If you want a strong brew, tighten the screws tightly, and if you want a lighter brew, tighten the screws loosely. 3) Pour in 30ml of hot water, put the lid on and let it steep for 2-3 minutes. Tip! Pour the hot water over the entire container in a swirling motion. The coffee will not drip out at this point. 4) Pour in 80ml of hot water, put the lid on and wait for it to extract. Tip! The extracted coffee will start to drip out slowly. 5) Once extraction is complete, place the dripper with the bottom tray on the inverted top lid and it's ready. [Three points to keep in mind once you start to get used to it] ① When tightening the inner lid, make sure to level the coffee before tightening it. This is a tip to ensure that the hot water pours evenly onto the beans. ② If it's hard to tighten the inner lid screw, it's possible that coffee grounds are stuck in the cavity of the screw holder! Use a toothpick or something similar to fix this. ③ When pouring hot water, try to pour in a narrow, circular motion. Pouring in one concentrated spot will result in a weak-tasting coffee.
