How to Use: Before first use, sterilize all parts by boiling for 3 minutes and allow to cool to room temperature (at least 5 minutes). After each use, thoroughly wash all parts with warm, soapy water. For a clean, non-damaging experience, use an Evenflo bottle brush. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Dishwasher safe (top shelf only). Can be cleaned with a steam sterilization bag. Press the nipple base into the cap ring and insert it through the top of the cap ring. Once the lip is inside the cap ring, spread the nipple apart and gently press the inner lip against the edge. Be careful not to over-tighten or under-tighten the cap ring by hand. Before feeding, pinch the Proflo™ valve with two fingers to spread the sides apart and allow for proper ventilation. For optimal breastfeeding results, be careful not to pull too much of the contents by pulling your baby's lips too far apart around the nipple.
Caution: The Evenflo Balance+ nipple is designed exclusively for use with Balance+ bottles. Other Evenflo or competitor nipples may interfere with the proper functioning of the nipple system and are not recommended. To avoid injury, always be accompanied by an adult during use. Consult your doctor or dentist regarding appropriate feeding practices. Do not microwave, as this may cause uneven heating. Always check the temperature before feeding to avoid scalding your baby. Do not forcefully widen the opening, as this may cause a tear. If the nipple tears, pieces may separate, posing a choking hazard. Inspect regularly and discontinue use if torn or cracked.
