With a powerful 9dB output at 20Hz, the 2DD system delivers clean, focused low frequencies while providing powerful bass and rich texture. Five Balanced Armature Drivers: Arcanis features five genuine American-made Knowles balanced armature (BA) drivers for the mid- and high-range frequencies. Two Knowles 32873 drivers provide seamless low-mid integration with the dynamic driver and the entire frequency range. Two full-range Knowles 29689 drivers handle the mid- and high-range frequencies, while one high-efficiency Knowles 33518 tweeter delivers clear ultra-high frequency detail. The use of multiple BA drivers, each optimized for a specific frequency range, delivers low distortion and high-resolution sound. Precision Tuned for Audiophiles: Arcanis utilizes a 4-way passive crossover network, with each driver group designed to handle its own frequency range. The result is an independent subwoofer response at 250Hz, flat midrange without bloat or coloration, and extremely natural high-frequency response.
