This is a compact 867Mbps wireless LAN adapter for businesses that supports 11ac and USB 3.0 and enables high-speed wireless communication simply by connecting it to a PC.
When combined with a RADIUS server, it supports WPA2-EAP and IEEE802.1X/EAP authentication, allowing only authorized users to connect to the network, creating a highly secure network environment.
This compact model is compatible with USB 3.0 and maximizes the capabilities of an 11ac access point, while being 89% smaller than the previous model (WDC-867U3).
Even when attached to a laptop, the protruding portion is only 22mm, so it won't be a nuisance when carrying it around.
The 5GHz band (11ac/n/a) is resistant to radio interference and allows for high-speed communication of up to 867Mbps, while the 2.4GHz band (11n/g/b), which is the more common communication band, allows for high-speed communication of up to 300Mbps (standard values).
