This new suribachi further expands the range of dishes you can make. During production, we used a mortar to mix colors to determine the color of the glaze. We noticed that the abrasion occurred even without grooves, and this was the inspiration for developing the suribachi. We worked with a local food coordinator in Komono Town to determine the size, weight, and shape for ease of use. The lack of grooves prevents ingredients from getting clogged, allowing for quick removal. Cleaning is also a breeze. The structure and aspect ratio place the center of gravity in the base, allowing for stable use without having to hold the edges. It's the perfect size to use as a container.
