These gloves are made from ultra-soft, flexible top-grain cowhide, ideal for precision welding. They can be hand washed and line dried, remaining supple. The palm features a unique Comforflex lining for moisture absorption and comfortable air cushioning. The back of the hand is lined with 100% flame-retardant, comfortable cotton for increased moisture absorption and insulation. The seamless index finger design allows for smooth control of small-diameter welding rods and ultra-lightweight TIG torches, enabling higher-quality, more precise welding. It also minimizes seam burns and wear. The Keystone Thumb Design allows for the most natural movement of the thumb and thumb base. Seams are sewn with DuPont KEVLAR Tex 70 thread (which has twice the tensile strength and heat resistance of conventional polyester/nylon of the same size) for increased seam strength and durability and minimize seam burnout.
