The factory second step is dark and difficult to see, but the additional LEDs brighten it up. The lights turn on and off automatically when the sliding door is connected. Although the shapes are very similar, there are slight differences between the left and right versions, so it is not a universal fit. Please make sure to attach it to the correct side by following the L (left) and R (right) printed on the back of the unit. [Compatible models] Alphard 40 series, Z Premier, model year: June 2023 onwards *For Executive Lounge and Vellfire models, the connector is not compatible, so you will need to devise a way to connect it yourself. The instructions are for the Z Premier. *We do not provide installation support.
