Seto ware is the collective name for ceramics produced in and around Seto City, Aichi Prefecture. It's a representative form of Japanese pottery with a history and tradition spanning more than a thousand years. It's known as one of the "Six Ancient Kilns," along with Tokoname, Shigaraki, Echizen, Tamba, and Bizen.
